LINKS CLUB TOUR SEPTEMBER 2007. TOUR SIZE 8

Accommodation is on a twin room sharing basis, at both Hotels featured in this tour.
This tour starts as the clients are met at Glasgow airport and are then taken by executive coach to their first hotel, the famous Gleneagles, set in the beautiful surroundings of the Perthshire country side.

Gleneagles
The travel time will be no more than 1 hour and will finish on your arrival at the hotel. Here you will begin your golfing experience of a lifetime with an afternoon round on the Queens course. This course is one of the two outstanding Braid designed courses at Gleneagles, and whilst the smaller in yardage of the two, is a great way to start your Scottish golf sensation.
Your stay at Gleneagles will be on a fully inclusive package of Dinner Bed and Breakfast with your golf included as well. On the three days that you are at this great resort, you will play all three of the courses, Kings, Queens and of course the PGA Centenary, which will host the 2014 Ryder Cup. At the Links Club we believe that this start to your tour will be one of the best that you can hope for, as the resort can offer you some of the most exciting scenery complimented by some excellent in house activities that sets Gleneagles apart. These activities include Falconry and excellent trap shooting of the highest quality, Horse riding and tuition, and for the relaxing golfer the excellent country club where you can use any of the therapies available.

On the fourth day you will be driven to your new Hotel on the outskirts of St Andrews, to stay at the Rufflets Country House Hotel. This excellent Hotel is less than 1 mile outside the town centre but affords the client tranquillity in this peaceful Hotel with excellent service.

Rufflets Country House

On arriving you will be able to check in and prepare yourself for your next round of golf which is an afternoon tee time on Kingsbarns, now widely respected as one of the great new courses of the country, currently one of the three courses that stage the Dunhill international. This will be followed by your choice of dinner options as advised to you by your Links Club representative. Your stay at Rufflets will be on a Bed and Breakfast basis and allows you to choose to eat in or out, making the most of your stay at St Andrews. You will be transported and guided on your executive coach for the whole duration of this part of the tour.
The following days Golf include the Old course, Carnoustie and the Devlin, which of course includes two of the most famous Open Courses.
On completion of your tour, you will be returned to the airport, helped to check in and onward home.
